This is a recording of two shows: At Lyth Arts Centre, Scotland's northernmost arts venue in November 2019, and Glasgow’s City Halls - a show that was part of the 2020 Celtic Connections Festival.

The album captures the duo in their element. Playing live on fiddle and piano, their music - a combination of traditional tunes and their own compositions - is spontaneous, free, filled with depth of feeling and quiet mastery.

The release comes at an unprecedented time in the world, days of huge upheaval and uncertainty for many.
